"Ultra Street Fighter II" Introduces First-Person Mode on Switch
News recently leaked about a first-person mode coming to the Nintendo Switch version of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. Now the latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu is here with more details for what’s being called “Fire! Ha-DO-ken” mode, which puts players in the role of Ryu as he blasts away Shadaloo soldiers.
According to Famitsu‘s description, players will use the JoyCons with both hands to make Ryu fire off Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku moves. Growth points can be used to strengthen your character, and you’ll be able to hone your skills in a practice mode.
Other modes coming to Ultra Street Fighter II include Gallery Mode, which features pieces from SF20: The Art of Street Fighter, and a character Color Edit mode.
