The Matsuno Boys Go Big for "Mr. Osomatsu" x "Ultraman" Events
Mr. Osomatsu is making its way around the fandom-verse, collaborating with shows, museums, and fashion lines. Their latest crossover is with ths legendary tokusatsu series Ultraman — which may seem a little random, until you remember that both Ultraman and the original Osomatsu-kun started in 1966.
The two series are teaming up for a collab called Mr. Ulmatsu, spearheaded by new art of the Matsuno brothers in sweet Ultraman hoodies depicting various iterations. Other characters from the series have been drawn up as classic aliens and monsters, too!
First up in the line of collab events is “Mr. Ulmatsu @ Dash Store,” taking place at Ikebukuro’s P’PARCO starting December 9. Character goods will be available for a limited time. A second location will open January 12 at Shinjuku Marui Annex.
