"Shuuden-chan" Manga Announces an Upcoming Announcement
Who gets you safely home during the wee hours? The good old reliable last train of the night — and in fine Japanese tradition, you can read a manga where the last trains on various lines are cute girls.
Shoji Fujimoto’s Shuuden-chan, originally run in Morning magazine, tells the story of those late-night trains working hard to get people home. And each one — the Chuo Line, the Yamanote Line, and so on — has their own personality and their own methods when it comes to getting their charges home.
Now, fans of the comic can expect some “big news” coming next week. What’s the big news? Well, we don’t know. They’ve essentially announced that they’re going to make a big announcement.
One assumption is that there’s going to be an anime adaptation, which seems to be what “big announcements” about manga end up being more often than not. But there’s no way to know just yet.
Whatever the announcement is, we’ll bring it to you in a week’s time.
