"SENGOKU NIGHT BLOOD" Two Main Voice Actors Also Star in Stage Play Adaptation
SENGOKU NIGHT BLOOD (SenBura for short in Japanese) is a smartphone game app co-created by Otomate, Kadokawa, and Marvelous, launched in May 2017. Its crossmedia expansion has included web radio shows by voice actors, comic, novels, and the ongoing TV animation. Now the “Sengoku Love Fantasy” series will have a stage play in August 2018.
As the first announcement for its cast, 28-year-old Ikkei Yamamoto and 27-year-old Yoshihiko Aramaki, who have voiced Toshiie Maeda and Kagekatsu Uesugi respectively in the franchise, are confirmed to play their characters on the stage as well. In their stage play career, Yamamoto is best known as Shuichiro Ohishi in The Prince of Tennis musicals, while Aramaki played Yujiro Kai (The Prince of Tennis), Kurou Yatogami (K), and Kunihiro Yamanbagiri (Touken Ranbu).
