Otome Y?sha Smartphone Game Previewed in Animated Promo Video
Level 5 began streaming a promotional video for its Otome Yūsha (Otomé HERO) iOS and Android game on Friday. The video reveals that the game is now slated for this winter.
Level 5 planned to release the game for iOS and Android devices in Japan last winter. However, the company later revised its release window to this spring. The company then announced in April that it planned to release the game this summer, but was pushed back again for this fall.
The game will feature 24 male Slayer characters that players can both use in battle and develop relationships with. Chinatsu Kurahana (Uta no Prince Sama, Aquarion Evol, Samurai Flamenco) is designing the characters. The game will be free to play, but in-game items will cost extra. Fairy Tail Brave Saga developer h.a.n.d. is developing the game.
The franchise will also feature an anime and manga.
Level 5 previously confirmed via press release that “there is no plan to release [the game] outside of Japan as of yet.”
