Koichi Yamadera Narrates "Ghost in the Shell" Japan-Exclusive Trailer
Following the poster introducing the members of Public Security Section 9, Paramount Pictures Japan today also released a Japan-exclusive trailer for the upcoming live-action film Ghost in The Shell. The 90-second clip is narrated by Koichi Yamadera, who has been cast as Togusa in the anime series since 1995. Since the Koukaku Kidoutai/Ghost in The Shell franchise is originated in Japan, the clip is edited by Paramount Pictures exclusively for Japanese audience.
And as previously reported, it is confirmed that Beat Takeshi as Daisuke Aramaki speaks Japanese instead of English to “The Major” portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. Japanese dub voice cast for the screenings in Japan have not been announced yet.

The Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman)-directed film is set to be released in the US on
March 31, 2017, then will be released in Japan one week later. The film’s world premiere screening is
scheduled to be held in Shinjuku, Tokyo, on March 16. Sanders, Johansson, Juliette Binoche (Dr. Ouelet)
and Pilou Asbæk (Batou) are confirmed to visit Japan for the event.
