"Dragon Ball FighterZ" Adds Nappa and Captain Ginyu, Gets Japanese Launch Date
The latest issue of V-Jump has some new info on Dragon Ball FighterZ, which officially launches in Japan on February 1, 2018. The western release is planned for “early 2018,” so it’ll probably end up being around the same time, but we’ll have to wait for an announcement.
There are also two more characters on the roster: Nappa and Captain Ginyu! Nappa can summon Saibamen and use his special Break Cannon technique, while Captain Ginyu can call upon other members of the Ginyu Force and swap bodies and health with his opponent.
V-Jump shared more info on Story Mode, as well, which will have players spiritually linking with Son Goku and other characters. From there you’ll be able to deepen your bond with them, eventually opening up private conversations with each character. As you advance through the Story Mode map, you can choose to aim for saving allies, learning skills, gaining experience, and other options.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is in the works for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
