"Detective Conan" 22nd Film "Zero’s Executioner" Set for April 13, 2018
The official website for the upcoming 22nd Detective Conan feature film Zero no Shikkounin (Zero’s Executioner) opened for an April 13, 2018 release and posted a teaser visual newly drawn by the original manga author Gosho Aoyama with a tagline “Is it your truth-.”
Following the 20th film The Darkest Nightmare in 2016, it will again feature Toru Amuro at the National Police Agency Security Bureau as a main character. In addition, Hyoe Kuroda, the Tokyo Police First Division Managing Officer who is rumored to be the No.2 person of the Black Organization, RUM, is confirmed to make his first appearance in a feature film.
The story begins with a sudden explosion incident at Edge of Ocean, a facility for Tokyo Summit. After Kogoro Mori is arrested as a suspect for the case, Conan starts an investigation to prove his innocence, but Toru Amuro, who should stand in the side of justice, comes up against Conan.
Yuzuru Tachikawa (Death Parade, Mob Psycho 100) works on his first Conan film as as director. The last
21st film Karakurenai no Love Letter/Crimson Love Letter released in April 2017 earned a massive 6.88
billion yen from its domestic run and has become the top-grossing film of the anime franchise.
