"Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody" Hits the Road in January
New cast additions and the official Japanese TV schedule have been revealed for Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, an upcoming TV anime based on the “heart-warming” fantasy light novel series written by Hiro Ainana and illustrated by shr about a 30 year old computer programmer who decides to enjoy the good life after being reincarnated as a powerful hero in another world.
The new cast members for Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody include:
Airi Eino as Miia.
And Kiyono Yasuno as Nana.
Previously announced cast members include:
Shun Horie as Satou.
Rie Takahashi as Zena.
Hiyori Kono as Pochi.
Kaya Okuno as Tama.
Minami Tsuda as Liza.
Aoi Yūki as Arisa.
And Marika Hayase as Lulu.
The original Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody novels are published by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Shobo Novels imprint, and an English language version is also in development from Yen Press. The story follows Satou, a computer programmer, who falls asleep during a major deadline crunch and wakes up in a fantasy world. After accidentally acquiring extreme magical power, Satou decides to enjoy the good life in his new home: traveling, sightseeing, eating delicious cuisine, and helping pretty girls with their predicaments.
The Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody TV anime is directed by Shin Oonuma and features animation by SILVER LINK. and CONNECT. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
- Tokyo MX: every Thursday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on January 11, 2018.
- Sun TV: every Saturday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on January 13, 2018.
- BS11: every Thursday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on January 11, 2018.
- AT-X: every Thursday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 11, 2018, with repeat broadcasts on Saturdays at 15:30, on Sundays at 26:30, and on Wednesdays at 07:30.
