Chisa Yuuki Stars in Uchi no Oochopus Mini Anime
Kazutomi Yamamoto, Kana Asumi, more star in series of shorts
NHK announced the cast for its new mini anime Uchi no Oochopus (Our Home’s Oochopus) on Tuesday. The cast is as follows:
Chisa Yuuki as Oochopus
Kazutomi Yamamoto as Kantarō
Kana Asumi as An-chan
Yukari Fukui as Mama
Wataru Takagi as Papa
NHK announced the series on November 30. It will premiere on NHK-E on January 9 at 5:20 p.m. and each episode will be five minutes long. A special 15-minute program introducing the anime will air on January 1.
The main character is the mysterious lifeform Oochopus. In the series, the Oochopus appears at the house of five-year-old Kantarō and three-year-old An-chan. Kantarō and An-chan accept the cute but somewhat irresponsible Oochopus as family.
