Kirito’s partner in all things virtual reality is getting a new figure based on her appearance in the Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale anime film. Figure-maker CharaAni released 3D prototype images of Asuna in her school’s summer uniform. The 1/7-scale figure is slated for release this summer.

The figure’s base gives the impression that Asuna is bouncing on water and will have a ripple effect.

A physical prototype will be on display at this year’s Winter Wonder Festival on February 19.

Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale will screen in United States theaters for a one-night event on March 9. Tickets to the film are on sale now. Prior to the wide release, Aniplex of America will host a premiere event in Hollywood, California on March 1.
