Atlus’ Studio Zero Team Reveals Catherine Full Body Game for PS4, PS Vita
Atlus revealed and opened a teaser website for the Catherine Full Body game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on Tuesday. Atlus‘ Studio Zero division is developing the game, and the company will reveal more information about the game on a livestream on Friday.
Kadokawa‘s Famitsu.com website also revealed on Tuesday that this week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine will reveal more information about the game on Thursday. Persona 5 director and Studio Zero helmer Katsura Hashino will have an interview in the issue. The website revealed that the game will feature the new character “third Catherine” (seen in first image above).
Atlus teased in a livestream in September that Studio Zero is developing a new Catherine game. In the livestream, Trisha appeared as the “host” of the “Golden Employment Special,” just as she hosts the “Golden Playhouse” television program in the game.
Atlus released its mature action-adventure/puzzle game Catherine for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Atlus USA released game in North America in 2011, and it also shipped in Europe and Australia in 2012. The game was a collaboration between Atlus and the Genius Party animators at Studio 4°C. The game shared notable staff with Atlus‘ Persona series, including director and producer Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. Studio 4°C produced the animated sequences.
Hashino is heading Atlus‘ new Studio Zero division. The division is also developing a new fantasy role-playing game project codenamed Project Re Fantasy: A Fool’s Journey Begins.
