Anime NYC to Host US Premiere of "IDOLiSH7" Anime
Hyped up for the IDOLiSH7 anime? Get yourself to Anime NYC and you could be among the first in North America to see it!
The mobile game adaptation hits screens in January, but Anime NYC attendees can get a first look on Saturday of the event. The series, with character designs by Full Moon wo Sagashite designer Arina Tanemura, follows the rhythm game app’s story of a new producer attempting to turn a seven-member boy band into a top-tier idol group.
In addition, series director Makoto Bessho and executive producer Shkichi Shimooka will also be on hand. The two will appear at the Saturday screening, and be available for signings throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Anime NYC takes place November 17-19 at New York’s Javits Center. The event will feature a special screening/concert event for Gundam Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower, the exclusive US premiere of the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist feature film, Viz’s “Sailor Moon Day” event, and many more big-ticket events. Weekend tickets are currently available for $60, with single-day passes starting from $35.
