The official website for the Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- TV anime series announced today that its first season’s compilation film titled Makuai Kaisouroku (Interlude Reminiscences) will be screened in select 21 theaters across Japan from December 1, 2017, for a limited time of two weeks.

The first season of the TV anime adaptation of the Touken Ranbu -Online- browser video game developed by Nitroplus and DMM Games was animated by Doga Kobo (Himouto! Umaru-chan, Luck & Logic) and aired for 12 episodes from October to December 2016. Its second season, now officially titled Zoku Touken Ranbu -Hanamaru- is set to premiere in January 2018.
