Original "Utawarerumono" Being Remade for PS4 and PS Vita
Utawarerumono fans will soon be able to play a full remake of the first entry in the series, which originally debuted on PlayStation 2 in 2006 as an updated take on developer Leaf’s 2002 adult release on PC. The new version, titled Utawarerumono: Chiriyuku Mono e no Komoriuta, is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on April 26, 2018.
This new take on the tactical visual novel features battles on full 3D fields, a high-resolution version of the opening movie, enhancements and high-definition upgrades for all scenes, and a Special Extended Mode featuring enhanced music.
The Utawarerumono remake will be available in a standard edition; a ¥9,800 (about $86) premium edition with an anime Blu-ray, soundtrack, and visual book; a ¥12,000 ($105) trilogy box; and a ¥29,800 ($261) Aquaplus limited box.
