Make Your Own Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Film Trailer
The official website for the Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution film series began a special promotion for the first film on Thursday. Fans can access a trailer maker page on the website to create their own original anime trailers.
First, people must choose four of 20 possible three-second videos to include in the trailer. Then, they can choose between Hiroya Ozaki‘s “Glory Days” theme song and Hardfloor’s “Acperience 7” insert song to use as the background music. Lastly, fans must choose a thumbnail, tagline, and title for their original videos.
The website is streaming fans’ submitted trailers. People who share their original videos on social media can download exclusive wallpapers.
An official music video for Ozaki’s “Glory Days” song debuted earlier this month. The film’s official website began streaming a 90-second trailer in July and a three-minute “special guide” video in August.
The first film in the planned Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution trilogy made its worldwide debut at Otakon on August 12. The first film will open in Japan on September 16, and will also open this fall in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Funimation is in charge of the North American release, and Madman Entertainment is in charge of the Australian and New Zealand release. BONES also plans to open the film in other countries “simultaneously.” The second film will open in 2018, and the third film will open in 2019.
The films will follow The First Summer of Love phenomenon that occurred a decade before the first Eureka Seven series. The anime franchise thus far has hinted at, but never depicted in full, “the beginning of it all.” The films will then have the same basic story as the first Eureka Seven series, but will have an original ending. The trilogy will have completely re-recorded lines, redone footage, and new scenes.
Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s VR Zone Shinjuku game center is offering a VR experience for the first film from September 13 to October 31.
