"Kemono Friends" Rolls Out Holiday Cheer with White Serval Goodies
Christmas is a time for friends — and, of course, Kemono Friends! Convenience store chain Famima!! has teamed up with the popular show to start offering cute prizes and products to dedicated shoppers.
Starting November 28 and running all the way through Christmas, the purchase of certain items will put customers in the running to win some limited-edition Kemono Friends goodies. Some feature White Serval, a snowy-looking Serval variant.
Prizes up for grabs include talking alarm clocks, tail cushions, gloves, and Lucky Beast bags. On specific dates, customers will also be able to grab pinback buttons and die-cut coasters. Calendar magnets and clear files will be rolling out over the coming weeks.
Dessert is covered, too, with Kemono Friends Christmas cakes available at the store.
For those who have read this far and are wondering about the likelihood of a real “white serval,” rest assured they do exist — but only two in the entire world. Tonga and his brother Pharaoh live at Tampa’s Big Cat Rescue. But despite the snowy, festive look of our White Serval Friend, their white fur has nothing to do with winter. The rare coloring is a result of a condition known as leucism. To quote Facebook memes: “There. That’s a thing you know now.”
