"Kemono Friends" Breaks Into the Video Game Streaming Biz
In addition to more anime, video games, and live stage & music events, surprise hit TV anime Kemono Friends is branching out into a new medium: the art of live-streaming video game content. The festivities will begin in the Fall season of 2017, with an official channel (tentatively titled “Friends no Tsudoi”, or “Friends’ Get-Together”) on the OPENREC.tv web-streaming platform.
The current plan is for the channel to stream live-talk events where the voice actresses of Kemono Friends have hearty discussions while playing video games, with the program to be structured like a variety show. The performers and broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date through the official OPENREC.tv Twitter feed.
