"Kemono Friends" 1st Guidebook with Blu-ray Gets Reprints Before Release
Due to the huge number that far exceeded the initial expectation, major stores in Japan, including Kadokawa Store, Amazon Japan and Animate, have had to stop accepting pre-orders for the upcoming first volume of the official guidebook for YAOYOROZU’s full 3DCG series Kemono Friends. The full-color 40-page book is set to be released at the price of 3,780 yen on March 25 and to come with a Blu-ray disc containing the anime’s first two episodes. Because there is no individual release of the discs is planned, fans have to buy the guidebooks to own the anime.
But thankfully for the fans, the official Twitter of the franchise has announced that the first volume is confirmed to get reprints shortly, even though it is one month before its release day. The shops are expected to restart accepting pre-orders soon.
