JoJo Part 3 Real Escape Game Reveals Original Character D’yer Mak’er
Scrap revealed the original character and his corresponding voice actor that will appear in the new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders real escape game next month. The attraction, titled JoJo no Kimyō na Kan kara no Dasshutsu (Escape From JoJo’s Bizarre Mansion) will include the enemy character D’yer Mak’er voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto. The character’s name is a reference to a Led Zeppelin song by the same name.
The website reveals the character is 24-years-old and a Scorpio. His hobbies include looking at photo collections of architect Antoni Gaudí’s work and collecting Rubik’s cubes. His favorite movie is the David Bowie flick Labyrinth. He is one of DIO’s subordinates and manages a hotel, “Hotel Haboob.” His Stand “Houses of the Holy” allows him to manipulate buildings. The Stand is a reference to a Led Zeppelin album, the same that that the track D’yer Mak’er appears on while “Haboob” is the Arabic word for a particular type of intense dust storm.
The real escape game will open in 24 cities throughout Japan starting on November 2. The venues will also sell original goods including a clipboard with the Hotel Haboob emblem, hooded pull-overs, and temporary tattoos.
