"Interviews with Monster Girls" Manga Reaches 1.1 Million Print Run in Japan
Aniplex announced on December 9 that Kodansha had printed over 1.1 million copies of Petos‘ supernatural comedy manga Demi-chan wa Kataritai. The series has been serialized in the publisher’s monthly manga magazine Young Magazine the 3rd since its first issue published in September 2014 as the author’s first serialization work and has released four tankobon volumes. Kodansha Comics USA has released its English edition under the title of Interviews with Monster Girls.
Its TV anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures is set to premiere on January 7, 2017. To commemorate the start of the TV anime, the next February 2017 issue of Young Magazine the 3rd, which will be released one day before the premiere, will be sold at 103 yen (about 89 cents). The magazine’s regular price is 602 yen (5.22 dollars).
