Hakumei to Mikochi Anime Premieres in January
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Takuto Kashiki‘s Hakumei to Mikochi: Tiny little life in the woods (Hakumei and Mikochi) manga revealed on Friday that the anime will premiere in January.
The manga follows the titular characters Hakumei and Mikochi, two nine-centimeter-tall (about 3.5-inch-tall) dwarf girls who live deep in a forest, making their home in the hollow of a tree, using leaves as umbrellas, and riding on the backs of insects and birds.
The studio Lerche is animating, and the studio Kusanagi is handling the background art.
Kashiki has been serializing the manga in Kadokawa‘s harta magazine (previously known as Fellows! magazine), and Kadokawa published the fifth compiled book volume of the manga in January.
