Elisabeth Báthory Has Halloween Plans in "Fate/Grand Order"
The Halloween terror that unfolded in Japan in 2015 has come to Fate/Grand Order in the West: the lovely (and ear-splitting) Elisabeth Báthory has invited you and your servants to a big party. But it looks like you’re the entertainment.
Kicking off yesterday, The Adventure of Singing Pumpkin Castle ~Mad Party 2017~ is a localized version of the game’s first Halloween event. It’s available to all players who have completed the Second Singularity (Orléans), and completing the main quest line will earn you a four-star Elisabeth Báthory Caster variant.
The seasonal quests have you facing off against scarecrows, pumpkins, and cookie golems as Elisabeth and Tamamo prepare a spooky party at Elisabeth’s castle. You’ll also find yourself toe-to-toe with Mata Hari, Vlad III, and others. Fortunately, the ever-faithful Kiyohime is available as a special support servant for the main quest lines.
You’ll also be collecting drops like cupcakes, candles, and pumpkins, which can be traded for limited-edition craft essences featuring Halloween art. Equipping these will also, in turn, increase your drop rate.
Running in tandem is a special Halloween Pickup Summon with increased rates for Tamamo Cat, Tamamo-no-Mae, Mephistopheles, Darius III, and Carmilla.
The main quest line can be finished fairly quickly — which will give you plenty of time to farm for treats and make the most of the event shop.
The Adventure of Singing Pumpkin Castle ~Mad Party 2017~ runs ’til November 1.
