After the Rain Performs Opening Theme for "Atom: The Beginning"

Voice unit After the Rain will perform the opening theme for Atom: The Beginning, an upcoming science fiction TV anime based on the prequel manga by Tetsuro Kasahara that envisions the early years of the characters of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy.

The opening theme is entitled “Kaidoku Funō” (“Indecipherable”). The song will be released as a single in Japan on April 12, 2017.

Atom: The Beginning is written and illustrated by Tetsuro Kasahara (with story contributions by Makoto Tezuka and Masami Yuki) and is serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Hero’s seinen manga magazine. The Atom: The Beginning TV anime is directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro and Tatsuo Satō and features animation by OLM, Inc., Production I.G, and Signal.MD.
